Belmont bank robbed
April 29, 2013, 05:00 AM Bay City News Service
Police investigators are working with Citibank officials in Belmont to gather surveillance footage of an armed robbery that happened at the bank Friday night.

Belmont police responded to a robbery at the bank at 1888 Ralston Ave. at about 5:50 p.m.

Bank employees described the suspect as a thin, light-skinned man wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, dark jeans and black and white shoes.

The man had a black semi-automatic pistol when he demanded money, according to Belmont police. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran outside into a parking lot. The suspect may have been associated with a light blue car.

Police investigators are working with the FBI to develop additional leads.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact Belmont police at (650) 595-7400.
