San Mateo firefighters extinguish two-alarm fire

Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a residence in San Mateo early Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at 2208 Bermuda Drive, near Fiesta Meadows Park, at about 3:40 a.m.

The fire was under control by about 4:40 a.m., according to fire officials.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
