Four cars involved in two collisions near construction on I-280
February 26, 2013, 05:00 AM Bay City News Service

Four cars were involved in two crashes near road construction on Interstate 280 in Daly City Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The right lane was closed for construction, and a first collision between a Honda Civic and a Nissan Frontier was reported at 8:52 p.m. near the Eastmoor Avenue offramp of southbound I-280.

A second collision involving a taxi and a Toyota Prius was reported just a few minutes later.

Three additional lanes of the road were briefly closed but reopened by about 9:15 p.m., the CHP said.

No one was injured in the collisions.
