San Mateo County sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for a boy with a pellet gun spotted in the wooded area next to Mills High School in Millbrae yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., the Millbrae Police Bureau of the Sheriff's Office was called to the wooded area next to the tennis courts at Millbrae and South Magnolia avenues after witnesses reported seeing the boy place a handgun into his backpack. Deputies, along with the Transit Bureau and the School Resources Unit responded and established a perimeter. The juvenile was not found, but a paper bag containing an Airsoft type pellet gun was located, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The juvenile was described as Hispanic, approximately 15-16 years old, 5 feet 4 inches and 140 pounds. Anyone with information about this incident or the juvenile is asked to call the Millbrae Police Bureau at 259-2300 or the Sheriff's Office Anonymous Tip Line at (800) 547-2700. |
