Letter: Oh California
February 25, 2013, 05:00 AM
Editor,

I knew I should not have done it. Went out of town for a few weeks and, o-deary-me, the mess California gets in while I am away. Facebook is not paying taxes, we are adding more public workers everywhere and more rules and regulations are in place to make sure we do not have a buoyant economy. Nitwit Brown tells us that the economy is good,

Texas eats our lunch, the top 1 percent of folks move out to save a bundle of real money and the list goes on. Hey, we are doing well; I think we are on the right path. If I now only could get a few days off to play golf with Tiger, it would be perfect.

But I am too busy working seven days a week to pay my state and federal taxes and save some money so I can afford Obamacare.

Daily Journal Quick Poll

How long should the Federal Reserve continue its quantitative easing programs?

Until unemployment is below 7 percent
Until some time in 2014
Until after the 2014 elections
Now
It should never have started
