Albis John Peluffo, late of Millbrae and San Mateo County resident for 65 years, died in Burlingame Feb. 12, 2013.
Husband of the late Lillian Peluffo for 63 years. Father of the late Albert (his wife Doreen); Mark (his wife Cathie); and Gary (his wife Louise). Dear brother of Hank (his wife Leah) and brother-in-law of Claire and Harry Barsanti; Dick and the late Sandra Nettelman. Also survived by his grandchildren Laura (her husband Jeff); Michael (his wife Anna); Lynn (her husband Will); Sarah (her husband Tuan); Alan; Caitlin; Leanne; Jessica; also his great-grandchildren Jack; James; Allie; Stephanie; Luke; Hailey along with his niece, nephews and cousins.
A native of San Francisco, age 88 years.
A 50-year member of Carpenters Union Local No. 2236 (formerly Mill Cabinet Local No. 42); founder of Albis Inc. Furniture and Antique Restoration in South San Francisco; served as a merchant marine during World War II.
The funeral liturgy will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Chapel of the Highlands, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae. Committal will follow at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. Family and friends may visit 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at the Chapel of the Highlands, with a 7 p.m. vigil service. His family appreciates donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of his wife Lillian.
