Woman arrested for burglary, identity theft

An Oakland woman is in custody for burglary, identity theft and other charges after she was acting suspiciously in the Best Buy store in San Carlos Thursday.

The woman, identified as Robinique Manuel, 21, was arrested after an investigation revealed in fraudulently altered debit cards, gift cards and a California driver’s license. She also had two outstanding warrants for her arrest, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

She was booked with burglary, identity theft, possession of a counterfeit card and bringing an illegal substance into the jail as it was discovered she brought marijuana into the jail in her possessions, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
