Burning bush

A tree was on fire in the parking lot of a church on Topaz Street in Redwood City before 9:11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26.

Half Moon Bay

Assault. Someone was assaulted on the 400 block of Cypress Avenue before 6:52 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28.

Burglary. An 18-year-old man was arrested for stealing a relative's ATM card and taking out more than $700 on the 1400 block of Audubon Avenue in Montara before 5:34 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

Fraud. Two people were found with someone else's credit card that they used to book a hotel room on the first block of Miramontes Point Road before 4:19 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

Arrest. A man was arrested for public intoxication on Francisco Street and Ferdinand Avenue in El Granada before 2:42 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24.

Arrest. A man was arrested for violating a restraining order and his probation on the 100 block of Canada Cove Avenue before 9:07 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Redwood City

Petty theft. A woman was arrested for stealing diapers on El Camino Real before 7:19 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28.

Grand theft. Tires and wheels were stolen on El Camino Real before 7:51 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28.

Battery. A woman was in a dispute with her boss on El Camino Real before 8:59 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27.

Disturbance. Two men were reportedly in a physical fight involving a golf club at the intersection of Woodside Road and El Camino Real before 12:54 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26.

Arrest. A person was arrested for strong armed robbery on Broadway before 11:08 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24.
