Gun buyback a 'huge success'

Nick Rose/Daily Journal A gun buyback event in San Mateo Saturday collected 680 firearms.

Nick Rose/Daily Journal U.S. Rep Jackie Speier looks at one of many assault weapons handed in at the buyback. A total of $63,500 was handed out at the event, which took place at the San Mateo County Event center.
