The San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force arrested a man suspected of selling illegal firearms on Friday and found multiple firearms in his home and car. |
A convicted felon was arrested Friday in San Mateo after police searched his home following reports he may have been illegally selling firearms, according to the San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force.
A search warrant was issued for a home on the 1300 block of Speers Avenue and police found three handguns, two revolvers, one semiautomatic and an SKS assault rifle fully loaded with a high-capacity magazine. Police also found hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Arrested was Antonio Infante, 35, on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm; being a felon in possession of ammunition; possession of a firearm with the serial number removed; possession for sale of high-capacity magazine; and possession of an unregistered assault weapon.
Infante was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility and is being held on a $250,000 bail. |
