Lee Vella — Serra soccer. His goal in the waning seconds gave Serra a 2-1 win over Bellarmine Saturday morning. That win propelled the Padres to a 3-1-1 record in five games over the last 11 days.

Robert Nolan — Mills basketball. He only scored two points in the Vikings' game against Aragon Friday night. But there were none greater. Replacing Joseph Worku, who had fouled out, Nolan's bucket with three seconds left turned out to be the game winner in a 59-55 victory over the Dons.

Dominic Pintarelli — Half Moon Bay wrestling. Trailing 8-4 late in the third period of his 145-pound match, Pintarelli scored five points with a two-point escape and a three-point near fall to pull out a 9-8 win over South City's Oscar Cortez during the Cougars' win over the Warriors.

Nick Frankel — Aragon basketball. The senior wing hit four 3-pointers in the first half and finished with six for the game for a game-high 23 points in the Dons' 59-55 loss to Mills Friday night.

Lindsay Karle — Menlo School girls' soccer. The junior is on a roll. She has scored seven goals in her last four games, including four last week. She tallied once in the Knights' 3-0 win over Crystal Springs and then recorded a hat trick in a the Knights' 6-1 win over Notre Dame-San Jose Saturday.

Angelo Bautista — Hillsdale boys' basketball. Bautista scored a game-high 24 points, knocking down six 3-pointers in the process, as the Knights ran their record to 2-0 in PAL play with a 43-34 win over San Mateo.
