PJCC food drive
January 07, 2013, 05:00 AM

Calling themselves "Trader Pandas,” the Peninsula Jewish Community Center Preschool Panda class recently sold muffins at the Center’s weekly Farmer’s Market to purchase canned goods for the Second Harvest Food Drive. Their interest to contribute grew out of a classroom conversation about gratitude and giving. The little pandas have been taking turns walking to Safeway with teachers and parent chaperones to use the money they earned to purchase canned goods for the drive.
