San Mateo Bridge crash snarls commute traffic
October 17, 2012, 05:00 AM Bay City News Service
A car overturned on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge early today, blocking lanes for about half an hour during the morning commute, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.

The crash was reported in the eastbound lanes, east of the bridge's high-rise, at 6:24 a.m.

CHP Officer Art Montiel said the driver of a Honda Civic lost control for unknown reasons and the car crashed and overturned.

The two left eastbound lanes were blocked, according to the CHP.

No injuries were reported, and the crash was cleared about half an hour later, he said.

What do you think of the pending closure of Tpumps in downtown San Mateo?

Surprised, it was super popular
Makes sense, the shop was too small
Hope they find their way back to San Mateo soon
There are plenty of other boba tea places
Glad, boba drinks make the sidewalks a sticky mess
