San Mateo police are looking for suspects in two burglaries that took place Friday morning.
The residential burglaries took place within a few hours of each other and within about two blocks of each other, and may involve the same suspects, according to police.
The first burglary took place between 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the 1700 block of South Norfolk Street.
The burglars forced entry through a side door, and no one was home at the time of the incident.
The second incident occurred on the 1500 block of Roberta Drive between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The home was entered through the front door and no residents were home at the time.
The suspects have been described as African American males. The first was around 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a muscular build, short hair and a gray shirt and black pants.
The second suspect was described as tall and thin, with shoulder length hair, dark clothing and a white hat.
