Lobster Feed fundraiser
October 08, 2012, 05:00 AM

Marc Allen Photography Ms. Deng and Mr. Cheng enjoy a delicious lobster feast at the SSF Lobster Feed Fundraiser.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of North San Mateo County and Kiwanis Club of South San Francisco proudly raised more than $14,000 at their second Lobster Feed Fundraiser held Sept. 22 at the SSF Boys & Girls Club gymnasium to benefit the programs of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ and various Kiwanis supported youth projects. Over 175 guests gathered together to feast on fresh Maine lobster, prawns, sausage, artichokes, corn on the cob and more. Guests enjoyed music by the Melted Butter Trio while bidding on auction items and winning raffle prizes donated by more than 100 Bay Area businesses, including SSF Scavenger Company and Southwest Airlines, as well as many local businesses and individuals. "We appreciate the communities’ support for both of our organizations and this event,” said Boys & Girls Clubs’ Executive Director Sharon Dolan.
